The front row has five individuals, with young students wearing black and purple shirts, and an adult man holding a yellow paper bag. The seats are labeled, and there are water bottles on the floor near some of the people.

The table is covered with purple tablecloths and has trays of prepared food like hot dogs, hamburgers, and baked goods. People are wearing gloves, and there is a wall with signs and windows in the background.

No matter your schedule or skill set, there’s a way to help and every volunteer plays a part in making Chantilly’s music programs exceptional.

Volunteering!

We Always Need Volunteers and There’s a Place for Everyone!

The Chantilly Music Boosters thrive because of our volunteers. Whether you have a few hours here and there or want to be more involved, every bit of help makes a real difference for our students and programs.

Tag Day Volunteers
Tag Day is our largest and most important fundraiser of the year. Volunteer parent drivers help students reach out into the community, making this long-standing tradition a huge success that directly supports our music programs.

Chaperones
We need parent chaperones for same-day and overnight competitions, trips, concerts, graduation events, and more. These volunteers help ensure our students are safe, supported, and able to focus on performing their best.

Concessions Support
Families are needed to help sell concessions at football games and other events. It’s a fun, social way to support the program and a great way to meet other music families.

Fundraising Help
From fruit sales to special campaigns, volunteers assist with planning, organizing, and spreading the word to keep our fundraising efforts strong.

Community Outreach
We rely on volunteers to represent the Music Boosters at school events like Back-to-School Night, Curriculum Night, and Freshman Orientation, helping us welcome new families and share what we do.

Donations of Snacks & Supplies
We are always grateful for donations of water, snacks, and other treats to keep students energized during long rehearsals, events, and performances.

Tiny Tots Program Support
Tiny Tots is a beloved holiday program that welcomes young children from the community for a magical musical experience. Volunteers help make this festive event run smoothly.

Dining Nights
Supporting the Boosters can be as easy as eating out! Families help simply by participating in our restaurant dining nights.

Jazz Fest Support
Jazz Fest requires volunteers for registration, concessions, and event logistics. It’s one of our biggest and most exciting weekends of the year.

Photography Volunteers
Photographers help capture performances, events, and special moments—preserving memories for our students, families, and community.
